I just posted a gameplay video if you want to check it out. Let me know what you think. Thanks for your time.

I know this is an old post but I wanted to contribute. There are 2 benefits to using the 2.1 cable, even with stock speakers and stock audio.
(1) You gain access to the tone controls on the board.
(2) You gain access to 2 dedicated amps.
See this from the product's page:
"With this cable, you enable the full potential of your PinSound board (full back box / cabinet tone control & 2 dedicated amplifiers)."
The answer also may depend if you upgrade the stock speakers or not. If you upgrade the speakers then I beleive you are going to want those dedicated amplifiers to drive them properly.

Great job on this sound pack. You can tell you put a lot of work into it.
-
Let me know if you found the secret during Demolition Time (it is random, so doesn't happen every time)
🙃

You just need to delete the cache file and it will re-scan all the files
-
Try unzipping all the files to the USB drive.
The path should be <drive letter>:\audio\name_of_sound_pack\music sfx etc
-
On my board there are 2 USB slots. Do you also have 2 and did you try both?
Remove and re-insert a few times if there is debris/bad connection.
Try sticking a blank USB drive in with no files to see if it is related to loading/reading files.
If the USB drives also work in a PC then yeah it might be a board issue.

Hello. Have you adjusted the volume control on the PInSound board itself?
Check this for firmware updates

Download Audacity and you can select the audio and use the Amplify controls to either raise or lower the gain. It is the perfect companion app for editing a sound pack. Hope this helps.

INSTRUCTIONS:
(1) Start with a blank USB drive with at least 8GB capacity. Format it to FAT32. It should be blank.
NOTE: PinSound website recommends at least 8GB
(2) Download the custom sound pack. Extract the audio pack to the root of your USB drive.
The path should be: <your_usb_drive>:\audio\Laithans_DemoMan_PinSound_HDRemaster_v1.0
(3) Insert the drive into your PinSound board and turn on the game.
Laithan's Sound Pack: [497MB] as of 5/11/23 (Original Sound Pack:233MB)
KNOWN ISSUES:* If you have a short end of ball bonus or skip the bonus, some of the ball drain
callouts may not have enough time to fully complete playback
NOTE: It is normal for it to take a LONG TIME to read the files for the first time. This will also depend on your USB speed. In my testing after I make changes and delete the cache file, it can sometimes take 15mins to read the sound pack again. Don't be alarmed, just let it run it is a very large sound pack-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please note that you will need to play multiple games to really get a sense for all the changes as there is a lot of randomization.I put a lot of effort into this and I hope you will find it worthy of your time. Thank you all and Enjoy!!!

Laithan's Demolition Man PinSound Sound Pack Complete HD Stereo Remaster
in Sound discussion

I figured I would share this here also. This is another video where you can get an idea of some additional gameplay with this Sound Pack. Keep in mind that each game is different so this is just one random example. This time it is not direct capture and was recorded using a GoPro H10B (that overheated at the end) with some mistakes I didn't catch in editing but you get the idea. This was a 5.4B game with all 4 multi-ball modes and Demolition Time so it will give a good example of many different sounds, callouts & music.
