As a result, utilizing a drum loop is no more "cheating" than using a sample, borrowing a handful of notes from a beloved song, or being inspired by someone else's work. There's nothing wrong with using drum loops in your songs as long as you make an effort to use them in a way that feels distinctive to your sound.

Just got a Pinsound plus in the mail today. First attempt at loading sound just had the automated lady saying "Converting sound" over and over with no percentages. Then after a long while she said "Testing sounds". And then nothing. No finished or you can play now, so I sheepishly pressed the start button and my game just went crazy, kicking two balls in the shooter lane, playing some sounds and callouts and cutting the flippers on and off for no reason. This can't be right, so I powered it off and back on. This time I get the automated voice saying "Converting sound 10% and so on all the way up to 100%. Then the "Testing sound files" message and please wait. Fi…

Hey! New to the owners club and excited to try my hand at making a SP for my DE JP. So far there is only one custom package for JP (an OST from EndProdukt), I'm thinking of making a hybrid version remix with the original SP but don't want to step on anyone's toes. Is it bad form to remix someone's existing mix or is all fair game? ...I mean, most of this is all copyrighted material anyways, so I figure it shouldn't matter, and I'd assume everyone would be just happy to have more options, but yeah, I just don't want to jump into this community pissing anyone off. Also, on the topic of jumping into editing, does anyone have any advice on how to balance db? Any videos,…

I love Pinsound. Recently I am getting into early and mid '80 pinball, and I think that a Pinsound board for older machines would make even more sense. On '90 machines you had original more than decent sounds and music, and its great to do enormously better with Pinsound. But music, sounds, fxs from early SS was really very limited. True, the sound of those pinball machines (in some case excellently implemented!) reflects the feeling of that era. But often those sounds are very similar, and often times plainly annoying to contemporary ears. Some sound fx are great and typical of certain older machines, and those could be easily left in a Pinsound new version. I …

Hello. I would like to know if the pinsound was compatible with the pinball data east back to the future and if so if some people work on a version of its alternative for this pinball, with the sounds of movies for example? Thank you

I haven't done any mixing but love some of the sound packages. I was looking through some of the MB ones and I can't see a specific file for Monsters of Rock? Is it possible to put a song just for that? Thinking either - Queen - We Will Rock You. Or Judas Priest - Monsters of Rock! Not expecting quick answer as seems pretty quiet on these boards. Thanks

I have done an Ozzy and Black Sabbath soundtrack for the Guns N Roses pinball machine. Every 'music' file has been replaced with an original song, various 'voice' files, etc. Look forward to any feedback or suggestions to improve it. See sample video link below. Thanks.

Anyone that was a Clash fan from the 70s & 80s should enjoy this remix. I have created a Getaway orchestration using most of the The Clash's greatest hits. See sample video below. I am still working on it so appreciate any feedback or suggested changes. Thanks and enjoy!
